In line with the Western Australian Government's commitment over the first term to provide 50 additional school psychologists, as at the 15 April pay date we have supplied an additional 16 FTE.
Staff numbers can vary from week to week as staff leave and new staff are recruited. To provide staff numbers on specific dates as requested in this question could inadvertently mislead the House as to the status of staffing levels.
The table below presents information on the staffing levels of the School Psychology Service in the most meaningful way as the annual average staffing levels for years 2008, 2009 and the current staffing as at the first pay period in March 2010.
