the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to the
Premier's statutory obligation outlined under part 2, division 3 of the City of Perth Act 2016 that requires the Premier
to convene a meeting of the City of Perth Committee at least twice a year.
(1) Is the Premier aware of his legal obligation
under this act?
(2) When was the last date on which he complied with
his obligation?

I thank the Leader
of the Opposition for some notice of the question and, indeed, his courtesy in
allowing me to get myself ready before he asked me my first question.
(1)–(2) The Premier met with the City of
Perth on 21 August 2023, along with the Minister for Local Government and the Minister
for Planning. Further meetings are scheduled in the near future.
