I refer question on notice No. 653, May 9 2003 and the answers provided -
(1) Can the Minister for State Development explain why Mr Bill Biggs has made a specific misleading statement which is unjustified to the media given it has been reported in the newspaper and ultimately relied upon in the wider community that Mr Biggs defends the Department that it is under funded and does not have the resources to check on rehabilitation work, instead relying on a system of self- reporting?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) Can the Minister explain why Mr Bill Biggs has made a completely unjustified statement to the media which has been reported as ‘The grapevine is good too. There are not too many cases where something happens we don’t find about.’ given the Minister to date has not been able to give a clear and concise answer as to what Mr Biggs means when he stated this to the
Kalgoorlie Miner
newspaper?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
