Can the minister advise the house how many speech pathologists and child psychologists were employed by the department to work in each of the Pilbara, great southern and Kimberley regions as at 30 September 2008 and 31 March 2009? Hon SIMON O’BRIEN

For the Pilbara, on 30 September 2008 there were 5.6 full-time equivalent speech pathologists and 0 FTE child psychologists, and on 31 March 2009 there were four FTE speech pathologists and 0 FTE child psychologists. For the great southern, on 30 September 2008 there were 5.7 FTE speech pathologists and 2.8 FTE child psychologists, and on 31 March 2009 there were 6.55 FTE speech pathologists and 2.4 FTE child psychologists. For the Kimberley, on 30 September 2008 there were two FTE speech pathologists and 0 FTE child psychologists, and on 31 March 2009 there were two FTE speech pathologists and 0 FTE child psychologists.
