I refer to construction of the Treendale-Millbridge Bridge, and I ask: (a) which companies tendered for the project: (i) of the companies in (a), which of these have a head office in the South West region; and (ii) which company was awarded the contract; (b) what proportion of the bridge infrastructure will be sourced domestically; and (c) when is the construction stage of the project expected to commence?

(a) The following companies submitted tenders for the contract: BGC Contracting Pty Ltd, BMD Constructions Pty Ltd, Bocol Construction Pty Ltd, CPB Contractors, Georgiou Group Pty Ltd, Geotech Pty Ltd, Highway / Albem JV, NV Besix SA and York Civil Pty Ltd.
(i) None of the nine companies have a head office in the South West Region.
(ii) The Contract has not been awarded yet because the tender assessment process has not been completed.
(b) This information cannot be determined until the tender assessment process is completed.
(c) Construction of the bridge is expected to commence in late 2016.
