for Planning:
I refer to ''Metropolitan
Region Scheme Major Amendment Report 1280/41'' relating to the proposed
Mangles Bay canal housing estate and marina.
(1) Has the
detailed traffic impact assessment required by the Department of Transport,
referred to on page 7 of the report, been completed?
(2) If yes to
(1), when will it be made available to the public and will there be an
opportunity for comment?
(3) Has a coastal
hazard risk management and adaptation plan for the proposal been submitted to
the Western Australian Planning Commission?
(4) When will the
public have an opportunity to be consulted on the coastal hazard risk
management and adaptation plan?
(5) If the public
will not have an opportunity to be consulted about the coastal hazard risk
management and adaptation plan before it is finalised, and given section 4.6 of
the ''State Coastal Planning Policy Guidelines'' on community
consultation and engagement, why not?

that the Western Australian Planning Commission has received a detailed traffic
impact assessment from the applicant.
(2) In accordance
with the Planning and Development Act 2005, the scheme amendment and a statement
setting out the purpose and planning objectives of the amendment are provided
for public comment. Technical supporting documents are not released publicly
but are considered by the WA Planning Commission in determining the amendment.
