Specific details have not been developed but the Minister for Housing and Works has suggested that further consultation occurs with the community with a view to the site being vested in the Town of Bassendean. The Department of Housing and Works is liaising with the Town of Bassendean on the matter. (5) There is no reason why a representative Aboriginal legal entity cannot be jointly involved with the Town of Bassendean in future management of the site and have access to culturally significant locations.
