In relation to the Fact Sheet titled Road Trauma Trust Account (RTTA) 2015/2016 Budget, which I received in 2015, I ask the following: (a) where are the metropolitan intersections that have been identified as part of the $12.1 RTTA expenditure; (b) what specific work has been carried out at these intersections; (c) how many serious/fatal accidents had occurred at these intersections for them to be identified for inclusion in this program; and (d) when will the Minister be in a position to evaluate the success of this program and what measures will be used?

(a) The intersections identified are as follows: i. Wanneroo Road/Hepburn Avenue. ii. Marmion Avenue/Mullaloo Drive. iii. Guildford Road/Tonkin Highway- Southbound on and off ramps. iv. Guildford Road/Garratt Road. v. Mitchell Freeway - Northbound on ramp at Wellington Street/George Street. vi. Shepperton Road/Duncan Street. vii. Morley Drive/Flinders Street. viii. Ennis Avenue/Royal Palm Drive. ix. Nicholson Road/Thomas Road. x. Mitchell Freeway/Whitfords Avenue. xi. Wanneroo Road/Green Street/Walcott Street. xii. Reid Highway/West Swan Road/Middle Swan Road. xiii. Great Northern Highway/Rutland Road.
(b) The work carried out is as follows: i. Wanneroo Road/Hepburn Avenue - Construction phase. Upgrade traffic signals to double diamond phase, install double right turns, add cycle detail design projects, return lanes and improve pedestrian facilities. ii. Marmion Avenue/Mullaloo Drive - Construction phase. Installation of roundabout. iii. Guildford Road/Tonkin Highway- Southbound on and off ramps Construction phase. Install double right turn on Guildford Road turning north and south extend westbound turning lane on Guildford Road. iv. Guildford Road/Garratt Road - Design phase. v. Mitchell Freeway - Northbound on ramp at Wellington Street/George Street -Construction phase. Installation of mast arms and associated electrical works. vi. Shepperton Road/Duncan Street Detail - Design/Pre-construction phase. vii. Morley Drive/Flinders Street - Construction phase. Extension of right and left turn approaches on Morley Drive, remove filter, improve pedestrian facilities. viii. Ennis Avenue/Royal Palm Drive - Concept Design Phase. Construct Partial Signals. ix.
