I refer to the lease application for the Western Australia Spaceport (WA Spaceport), submitted to the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) under case number 2302716 / File 00138-1891 on 23 November 2023, and I ask: (a) What is the currents status of the lease application; and (b) What actions are being taken to expedite the approval process, considering the reported delays are significantly hampering the project’s progress and the finalisation of necessary funding?
