PRISON TO PAROLE PROGRAM
I refer to the media statement made by the Minister for Corrective Services on 13 March 2008 that $8 million has been committed over the next four years to deliver an additional suite of programs, including a program for sex offenders who deny their offending, an Indigenous cognitive skills program, the Prison to Parole program—which is related to the use of drugs and alcohol—and a medium intensive violence program. (1) How much of the $8 million will be for the Prison to Parole program over each of the next four years? (2) How will this amount be distributed between metropolitan and regional areas? Hon JON FORD
