(1) Is the RDC able to request funding or make an application for funding under the Regional Grants Scheme?
(2) If yes to (1), has the RDC made any applications to date?
(3) If yes to (2), provide details of the project and the funding amount requested?
(4) Who assesses applications for funding made by the RDC under the Regional Grants Scheme?
(5) Who determines whether to approve or not approve applications for funding made by the RDC?
(6) Have any applications for funding made by the RDC been refused?
(7) If yes to (6), provide details of the project and the funding amount requested?

(4) If the Regional Development Council were to apply for funding under the Regional Grants Scheme, the relevant Development Commission would assess the application.
(5) Under the Regional Grants Scheme, the relevant Regional Development Commission Board makes recommendations to the Minister for Regional Development which are then taken to Cabinet for final approval.
