1323. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Leader of the
House representing the Minister for Training and Workforce Development:
I
refer to the minister's answer to question without notice 1310 about
drones purchased by South Regional TAFE.
(1) Are the
working dog training courses used as an accredited module towards a certificate
III in agriculture at Muresk Institute provided by a private provider?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) who is the provider or providers;
(b) what is the
cost of this course to students; and
(c) is the
private provider using drones supplied by South Regional TAFE in these courses?
(3) If yes to
(2)(c), what are the contractual arrangements between South Regional TAFE and
the private provider for the use of these drones?

(2) (a) It is the Working Dog
Centre.
(b) The fundamentals and intermediate
level courses each cost $780.
(c) Yes.
(3) Drones are provided for the
purpose of student outcomes only at nil cost.
