549. Hon Michelle Boylan to the minister representing
the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence:
I refer to the
specialist homelessness information platform (SHIP), which records the number
of women and children accepted into and turned away from family and domestic
violence refuges across WA.

In the past financial year, how many women presented to FDV refuges?
(2)
Of those, how many were accepted and how many were turned away?
(3)
Can the parliamentary secretary cite the top reason for refusal?
(4)
How many of those refused were left without any placement or referral?

been provided by the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence.

The Department of Communities advises that the specialist homelessness
information platform is managed by the Australian Institute of Health and
Welfare (AIHW). Available AIHW data is publicly accessible.
