(1) To 20 May 2010 - 56,416.
(2) To 20 May 2010 - $1,465,722. The revenue will be used to fund a State-wide survey of holders of the new Recreational Fishing from Boat Licence, and to improve the management of recreational fishing through a range of improved services.
(3) The revenue will also be used in a number of ways to improve compliance including establishing partnership arrangements with fishing tackle distributors across the State for the distribution of Department of Fisheries recreational fishing publications.
(4) The Recreational Fishing from Boat Licence was not targeted at reducing the catch of demersal scalefish on the west coast. Its main purpose related to providing a State-wide database of recreational fishers that could be surveyed to obtain better information on recreational fishing activities.
