The Department of Housing and Works advises
1)(i)The total paid to the Country Housing Authority Board in the 2006/2007 financial year was $27,630.00.
(ii) The total paid to the Architects Board of Western Australia in the 2006/2007 financial year was $29,330.00.
(The Machinery of Government legislation abolished the boards of the State Housing Commission and Government Employees Housing Authority (GEHA) and merged the former bodies into the State Housing Authority to be governed by the Chief Executive Officer. The legislation resulted in GEHA no longer being a separate legal entity, as it has now become a business unit under the Housing Authority).
2)(i) The total paid to the Fremantle Prison Advisory Committee in the 2006/2007 financial year was $1,944.00.
(ii) The Building Regulation Advisory Committee is formed under section 435 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1960. Pursuant to section 435(10) of the said Act a total sum of $750.00 was paid as remuneration to members during the 2006/2007 financial year.
