I refer to the ramping of ambulances at state hospitals and I ask for each year of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, and I ask: (a) how many hours did WA Police spend in each year attending ambulances ramped outside hospitals in the Perth metropolitan region; and (b) how many hours did WA Police spend in each year attending ambulances ramped outside hospitals in the state's regional police districts?

The Western Australia Police Force advise that the agency cannot provide a response to these questions as ‘ambulance ramping’ is not captured as an incident type in the police dispatch system.
