(1)-(2) The government is committed to ensuring that residents of Wittenoom and all Western Australians are not unnecessarily exposed to airborne asbestos fibres. (3) Not applicable. (4) A number of reports raising issues on Wittenoom have been debated in the past. This government’s policy is to expedite the closure of Wittenoom.
