(a-d)      The HIFG is a joint industry and government body that meets 1-2 times a year and publishes independent reporting on the housing sector in Western Australia following each meeting. The group met once in 2024-25 and is yet to meet in 2025-26.
Meetings are scheduled by the HIFG Chair (currently Michael McGowan, Executive Director, Housing Industry Association WA) to coincide with the release of building activity data by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
