For projects that are funded by Royalties for Regions and where the portfolio agency is the project proponent, the cost of acknowledgement requirements is as follows:
Landgate, the Gascoyne, Goldfields Esperance, Great Southern, Kimberley, Mid West, Peel, Pilbara, South West and Wheatbelt Development Commissions:
(a) Nil.
(b) Nil.
LandCorp:
(a) LandCorp signage, presentations, publications, articles and newsletters are produced with the intent of promoting LandCorp projects. The cost of acknowledging funding or part funding of projects from Royalties for Regions is by way of attaching the logo to materials and the cost is negligible.
(b) As above.
The Department of Regional Development and Lands:
As stated in the Memoranda of Understanding and Financial Assistance Agreements entered into with agencies or other entities by the Department of Regional Development and Lands, it is the responsibility of the agency or entity receiving Royalties for Regions funding to install signage.
The program requires successful applicants to acknowledge the funding provided through presentations, publications, signage, articles, newsletter or other literary works relating to the funded project or its activities.
Details of costs incurred by the Department of Regional Development and Lands for materials that acknowledge or promote the Royalties for Regions program in a generic sense are regularly provided in response to other Parliamentary Questions.
