A master planning process for Newman Hospital and Health Service commenced in 2010 and the first phase of that process has been completed with the development of a comprehensive Service Plan, which recommends replacement of the Child Health Clinic and its relocation onto the existing Newman Hospital and Health Service site.
The redevelopment of the hospital and health service has been recognised as a priority for future capital investment and has been included in the Department of Health's future infrastructure planning.
