I refer to the number of juvenile suicides in the South West Police district, and I ask: (a) how many juvenile suicides have South West Police recorded each month in the period from 1 January 2019 to 30 April 2023; (b) what was the age of each juvenile listed in the answer to (a); (c) what was the biological gender of each juvenile listed in the answer to (a); and (d) which Police Station responded to the incident listed in the answer to (a)?

The Western Australia Police Force advise that there have been five juvenile suicides in the South West District between 1 January 2019 to 30 April 2023 with Busselton (2); Margaret River; Capel and Bunbury police stations responding. Ages range from 14 – 17 with three male and two female.  Care has been taken in relation to this information as not to identify any persons or families involved who could still dealing with the death of a family member and cause them harm.
