I refer to the Ferry Service Expansion Feasibility Study, and I ask: (a) of the $2 million allocated for the Ferry Service Expansion Feasibility Study for 2024-25 and 2025-26, how much has been spent; (b) what is the status of the study; (c) has any report, preliminary or final, been produced; (d) if yes to (c), can this be tabled; (e) if no to (c), is a report being produced and when is this expected; (f) noting that the Government has undertaken an Expression of Interest process with industry for ferry design, will the Ferry Service Expansion Feasibility Study include a community consultation component; (g) in reference to (f), in what form will this community consultation take place; and (h) if the feasibility study will not include a community consultation component, in what form will community consultation otherwise take place, if any?

(a) $1.3 million of the feasibility funding budget has been expended to date, with the remaining funds committed to activities already underway.
(b)-(e) The Government has committed to provide a summary of the Business Case with any commercial-in-confidence information removed.
(f)-(h) The Public Transport Authority (PTA) and the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) has undertaken significant consultation with key stakeholder groups since October 2024. PTA and DTMI will continue to engage with key stakeholders on all aspects of the project as the project progresses. Broader public consultation will take place following the submission of development applications for the proposed ferry terminal locations.
