The Minister for Indigenous Affairs has provided the following response:
(1) The quartz artefacts were identified as part of a survey conducted between 20 and 24 January 2007.
(2) Mr Joe Mattner, an archaeologist.
(3) The location of identified artefacts at the time of recording was GDA 1994 MGA Zone 50 412758 East, 6478832 North and 412575 East, 6478628 North.
(4) The recorded locations of the artefacts are approximately 138 metres to the north and 5 metres north west of Hanson's current 5.4 hectare expansion of quarrying activities
