862. Hon JAMES HAYWARD to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Health:
I refer to the 2.9 million expired
V-Chek rapid antigen test kits.
(1) Can the minister confirm Health Support Services
has 2.9 million expired V-Chek RAT kits in its possession?
(2) Can the
minister advise how these expired RAT kits will be disposed of, specifically if
they are able to be recycled or if they will be going to landfill?
(3) Is the
minister confident that remaining brands of RAT kits that have not expired to
date will be used before they expire?
(4) Can the
minister confirm the WA Labor government was overconfident in relation to
V-Chek RAT kits and their utilisation before their expiry date?
