CHILDREN IN CARE — CRIMINAL CHARGES
494. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the article titled ''Axe kid on 35 charges''
in the Subiaco Post of 9 May 2020, regarding a 12-year-old child in the
care of the CEO who has managed to accumulate 35 pending criminal charges and
who was arrested in an axe attack on a police officer.
(1) Were the pending criminal charges accumulated prior to
the child entering care?
(2) Have any pending criminal charges been accumulated since
the child entered care?
