INDUSTRY INQUIRY — GOVERNMENT RESPONSE
624. Hon DARREN WEST to the
Leader of the House representing the Minister for Racing and Gaming:
(1) I refer to
recommendations made in the second report of the Joint Standing Committee on
the Review of the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Acts 2008–2013,
and I ask the Minister for Racing and Gaming if he supports recommendations 26,
27 and 29?
(2) If no to any of the above recommendations, why not?
(3) I refer to
the submission ''The Racing Industry—A Pathway to Sustained
Growth'' submitted to the Minister for Racing and Gaming and the
Treasurer in December 2012, and I ask the Minister for Racing and Gaming if he
supports recommendations 1, 2 and 3?
(4) If no to any
of the above recommendations, why not?
