I refer to the application of Mr Caius Kelly to become a Western Australian Police Officer and I ask:
(a) can the Minister provide details as to why Mr Kelly’s application was declined/ unsuccessful;
(b) given each application is assessed individually, who assessed this application and on what date;
(c) given Mr Kelly can reapply to become a police officer- what suggestions can the Minister provide for Mr Kelly to be successful in his application in the future; and
(d) will Western Australia Police reconsider its current letter advising applicants of their applications being declined to include further details on where their applications have not fulfilled the prerequisites required to become a police officer?
