Minister for Environment:
I refer to the Department of Water
and Environmental Regulation's work undertaken since the release of the
document Closing the loop: Waste reforms for a circular economy , and the
minister's answer of 6 April.
(1) Has the department drafted the
regulatory impact statement?
(2) If yes, can the minister please
table the statement?

some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me by
the Minister for Environment.
(1) Closing
the Loop: Waste reforms for a circular economy was prepared as a consultation
regulatory impact statement. A decision regulatory impact statement will be
completed following government's decision on the regulatory proposals.
(2) Not applicable.
