(a) New MetroRail Project information signs have been installed at seven station sites for the South West Metropolitan Railway. These are Leach Highway, South Street, Thomsons Lake, Thomas Road, Rockingham, Waikiki and Mandurah. The total cost of these signs is approximately $26,000 which is contained within the overall New MetroRail Project budget of $1,518.172 million. During February, four signs were erected in the CBD alerting the public to the imminent commencement of traffic management measures associated with the City Project works. These signs were erected by the City Project Contractor, Leighton Kumagai and are part of the contractor’s traffic management plans. The cost of these signs is part of the overall price for the City Project contract.
