In regional Western Australia, taxi 'licences' are issued (rather than taxi 'plates'). Licences are not owned.
The below answers therefore apply to the metropolitan area where taxi plates may be issued on an owned basis:
(1) 641 people own metropolitan taxi plates.
(2) Of those 641 people, 602 have WA postal addresses.
(3) In addition, 230 body corporates own metropolitan taxi plates. (A body corporate includes companies, trusts, partnerships, estates and funds).
(4) N/A (Transport does not hold this information).
(5) Of the 602 people who own metropolitan taxi plates;
(a) 577 people have postal addresses in the metropolitan area,
(b) 25 have postal addresses outside the metropolitan area.
