ELIZABETH QUAY WATER PARK — WATER QUALITY
75. Ms R. SAFFIOTI to the Minister for
Planning:
I have a supplementary question. Can the minister confirm, through that
answer, that no testing was undertaken prior to the reopening of the water park
on the morning of Friday, 5 February, for two to three hours?

AnswerView source ↗

No, I cannot confirm that.
Ms
R. Saffioti interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Member for West Swan, if
you shout out again, I am going to ask you to leave the chamber. This is the
last warning.
Mr J.H.D. DAY : To the contrary, there was water testing
done prior to Friday, 5 February, two or three days earlier. As soon as the
result of the test was notified to the MRA, the water park was closed and
remained closed for that weekend.
Several members interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Thank you, that question
is finished; it is finished!
