I refer to noise monitoring results for Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd for the period April 1 2000 to June 30 2000 published in the Kalgoorlie Miner Newspaper -
(1) Has the Minister formed a view, based on these results, that KCGM has breached any ministerial or licence conditions?
(2) If so, what actions does the Minister propose to take against KCGM?
(3) If not, why not?

The Minister Replied:
(1) No
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The noise monitoring results are being published quarterly as part of a noise and vibration monitoring and management programm which was drawn up to fulfil requirements of Ministerial conditions. They do not represent a breach of Ministerial or licence conditions.
