I refer to the cap originally imposed on Lottery West’s online sales and ask: (a) what was the amount of the cap when internet sales were introduced; (b) how was the cap implemented or regulated; (c) is there currently a cap on internet sales; (d) if yes to (c), what is the current cap; and (e) if the cap has been amended since the introduction of internet sales, how many times has this occurred?

(a) In February 2011 when the Play Online service was introduced the weekly play limit was $200.
(b) The weekly spend limit is managed through the Gaming (computer) system and will not allow a player to exceed their specified weekly spend limit.
(c) All Play Online accounts continue to have a weekly spend limit.
(d) The maximum weekly spend limit for a Play Online account is $500.  69% of players using Play Online have set a spend limit of less than $500.
(e) Once in September 2013.
