(2) The Bill seeks to apply the fundamental principle that every citizen should have an equal say in electing the State Government. Indeed, this basic principle of representative government has been part of the ALP policy for over 100 years. Therefore, the attitude of the regional commissions was not sought. (3) Not applicable.
