The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises:
(a) The scope of this project is being finalised following extensive consultation with all stakeholders including career and volunteer personnel, industrial bodies and associations.
(b) Construction is anticipated to commence in October 2015.
(c) Construction is estimated to be completed in October 2016.
(d) It is estimated that the Station will be operational in November 2016.
(e) - (f) The amount allocated in the 2014/15 Budget is $8.657 million. As the scope for this project has just been finalised it is anticipated that some of this money will be carried over into the budget out years. Cash flow adjustments to reflect varied completion dates will be submitted as part of the 2015/16 budget process.
