I refer to the Minister's answer to question without notice No. 67 asked on 19 February 2015, and I ask: (a) has the Minister ever exercised the section 9(1) power under the Maritime Archaeology Act 1973 ; (b) if yes to (a), how many times; (c) has the Western Australia Museum undertaken any survey work on Lot 883 Koombana Drive, Bunbury to ascertain if any shipwrecks or maritime artefacts are located at Lot 883; (d) does a declared protected zone under local planning regulations afford the maritime artefacts and shipwrecks the same protection as section 9(1) protection under the Maritime Archaeology Act 1973 ; (e) if yes to (d), what action is available to the Minister and/or the Western Australia Museum if the shipwrecks and/or the maritime artefacts are removed or damaged in any way; (f) if no to (d), how do the protections differ; (g) is the Minister aware that at least one of the shipwrecks is pre-1900 and therefore protected as a maritime archaeological site under the Maritime Archaeology Act 1973 ; (h) under the protection afforded under the local planning regulations, can a structure be built over the shipwrecks and, if yes, what type of structure; (i) under a section 9(1) declaration protection, would it be possible to build a structure over the shipwrecks; and (j) will the Minister table a map showing the lot boundaries, the location of the shipwrecks and buffer zones as the map in the report does not show all these features?
