(1) Can the Minister please advise what training is given to departmental officers based in regional Western Australia on the following: (a) four wheel driving; and (b) how to use a satalite navigation phone? (2) In regards to satalite navigation use, are vehicles tracked when staff drive remotely? (3) If no to (2), why not? (4) Are all four wheel drive vehicles fitted with snorkels? (5) Are departmental staff provided with training to install baby and child seats in vehicles? (6) If no to (5), why not? (7) For each of the past five years, what has been the number of vehicles and mobile phones attached to each district office?

1a) All Department for Child Protection and Family Support employees are required to complete orientation and induction programs upon commencing employment. Further to this, regional district offices provide four wheel drive training to relevant employees.
