OAKAJEE PORT AGREEMENT
On 6 May 2009 the Premier refused a request to table a copy of the Oakajee port agreement of March 2009. Following that refusal, why did he not give written notice to both houses of Parliament and the Auditor General, as required under section 82 of the Financial Management Act? Hon NORMAN MOORE

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The state development agreement is a document that provides for the project to be progressed to bankable feasibility stage. Notwithstanding that, the Department of State Development and Oakajee port and rail are currently working together with a view to drafting a state agreement act, which will be a public document presented to Parliament.
