I refer to the changes to the Department of Regional Development and Lands, which has been split into the Department of Regional Development and the Department of Lands, and I ask: (a) what will be the cost to change signage to accommodate the new title of each department; (b) what will be the cost to replace stationery, business cards and other office supplies with the previous Department’s letterhead and signage; (c) what will be the cost to alter websites and other internet-based advertising; (d) what advertising will be undertaken to make the public aware of the change in Department title and structure; and (e) how much, if any, will the public awareness or advertising campaign cost?

(a)
The cost to change signage to accommodate the new title of each department was
$5 430.70.
(b)
The amount incurred to replace stationery for the Department of Regional Development was $1 523.35 and for the Department of Lands was $1 634.35. The amount incurred to replace business cards for the Department of Regional Development was $329.99 and for the Department of Lands was $1 521.93. The amount incurred to replace other office supplies for both Departments was nil.

The costs to alter the website were:
· $295.70 for two domain names for two years for Department of Lands.
· $47.85 for one domain name for two years for Department of Regional Development.
· $135 to update the master page on the Department of Regional Development website.
· $1 350 to create the Department of Lands website.
(d)
There has been no advertising undertaken to make the public aware of the change in Departmental title and structure. The departments have sent correspondence, either letters or emails, to stakeholders to express the changes to contact details. The Department of Regional Development and Lands Messages on Hold service was changed to reflect the change in Department title and structure.
(e)
Approximately 2 500 letters were sent to stakeholders about the change in contact details and therefore the cost for postage was $1 457.50. Cost of changes to the Messages on Hold service was $2 055.55. Neither the Department of Regional Development nor the Department of Lands currently have plans to undertake a public awareness or advertising campaign.
