REVENUE
LAWS AMENDMENT BILL 2015
1185. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the
minister representing the Treasurer:
I thank the Leader of the House for the information that he
tabled last week regarding the average local government rates for pensioner
households in each local government authority. Is it possible for the Treasurer
to also table the following —
(a) the number of pensioner households in each LGA; and
(b) the percentage of pensioner
households in each LGA that will be impacted by the local government rates cap?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
Table
1 shows the estimated number of pensioner households and the percentage of
pensioner households impacted by the local government rates cap in each local
government area. These estimates are based on data for the 2013–14
financial year.
(a)–(b) I table the
attached document.
