I hope the member got from my
previous answer that we have seized the opportunity; we actually got this
event. We have not missed it. It is a great opportunity, and we will see a festival
of football over three days of exciting competition, as Australia goes up
against—I will try to get these right—Chinese Taipei, the
Philippines and Iran. This will be an exciting competition played over three
exciting days. It will be a round-robin event to determine qualifications for
the Olympics. Let us get on board. Let us celebrate the Matildas. Let us be
positive for a change. Congratulations to the Minister for Tourism for getting
this event.
Mr D.A. Templeman interjected.
The SPEAKER : Leader of the
House, you know I always rely on you to set an example, and I hope it is a good
one!
