1. The WAPC State Industrial Buffer Policy 4.1 is a generic policy that provides a framework for an industry or similar use to develop a buffer and Fremantle Ports used this policy as the framework for its Inner Harbour Buffer Definition Study.
The Buffer Definition Study undertaken under the policy confirmed that retail and commercial activities in the West End of Victoria Quay are compatible with port activities providing appropriate design criteria are applied.
