For each department, agency or Government Trading Enterprise within the Minister’s portfolio of responsibilities, I ask: (a) how many notebook computers, laptops or tablets have been recorded as lost for 2023-24; 2024-25 and 2025 to date; (b) how many notebook computers, laptops or tablets have been recorded as stolen for 2023-24; 2024-25 and 2025 to date; (c) what is the actual or estimated value of the lost or stolen notebook computers; (d) how many mobile phones have been recorded as stolen for 2023-24; 2024-25 and 2025 to date; and (e) what is the actual or estimated value of the lost or stolen mobile phones?

As a result of the Machinery of Government changes, the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) does not hold information prior to 1 July 2025. As at 1 July 2025, LGIRS advise:
a)  0; b) 2; c) $2,934.54; d) 0; e) Not applicable.
Metropolitan Cemetries Board:
(a) 0; (b) 0; (c) N/A; (d) 2024/2025 – 1 (lost), 2025/2026 (to date) – 1 (stolen); (e) $705 per device .
Gascoyne Development Commission:

Department of Communities:
