The Minister Replied:
(1) 31 taxi ranks are in the Perth City and Northbridge area.
(2) Refer to Appendix 1 attached.
(3)-(6) The provision and location of taxi ranks in Perth City and Northbridge is an operational matter for the taxi industry to negotiate with the City of Perth.
I understand the taxi industry has historically maintained a close working relationship with the City of Perth and I would expect this to continue in the future.
If the taxi industry has any concerns about current taxi ranks, I would encourage it to raise them directly with the City of Perth.
