secretary representing the Treasurer:
I refer to the
government's Urban Connect home loan scheme.
(1) How many customers received an Urban Connect home
loan in each of the following years:
(a) 2022–23;
(b) 2023–24;
(c) 2024–25; and
(d) 2025 to date?
(2) Of those customers who received an Urban
Connect home loan, how many of those also accessed Urban Connect Plus in each
of the following years:
(a) 2022–23;
(b) 2023–24;
(c) 2024–25; and
(d) 2025 to date?

answer on behalf of the Treasurer.
(1)–(2) Twenty-two Urban Connect home loans
have been taken up. As the pipeline of new medium and high-density apartment
developments grows, having these loan products in the market provides both
buyers and developers confidence that finance options are available. These
loans are just one aspect of a broad range of strategies to get more Western
Australians into homes.
