PRISONS —
CONTRABAND
1025. Mr S.K. L'ESTRANGE to the Minister for
Corrective Services:
I have a supplementary question. The
minister has had a massive prison breakout, he has lost track of dangerous sex
offenders and now drugs are flowing into his prisons. When will he resign?
Mr W.J. Johnston interjected.
The SPEAKER : Minister for
Mines and Petroleum, I call you to order for the first time. It is not a shouting
match.

AnswerView source ↗

What a ridiculous proposition! The
third shadow minister puts to me: what am I doing about drugs? I put this back
to the Liberals, including a former minister: how many drug raids on prisons
did they do in their eight-year term in office?
Several members interjected.
Mr F.M. LOGAN : None, and that
says it all.
