Waste material that is not classified as hazardous or radioactive under Commonwealth legislation, is subject to the requirements of Western Australian legislation.
Any company wishing to import waste material into Western Australia is subject to the requirements of the Environmental Protection (Controlled Waste) Regulations 2004 and/or Environmental Protection Regulations 1997.
