FOREST PRODUCTS COMMISSION — VINCE ERASMUS
955. Mr M.P. MURRAY to the
Minister for Forestry:
I refer to the minister's media statement of just
over a year ago announcing the appointment of Vince Erasmus as general manager
of the Forest Products Commission and her confidence that Mr Erasmus would lead
the commission with a great sense of direction and purpose. Is it true that Mr
Erasmus has advised the minister or her office of his intention to resign from
the position; and, if so, why has he resigned so prematurely?
