The Department of Housing advises:
(a) This site has been transferred to the Department of Housing.
(b) 31 May 2011.
(c) The Department of Housing will use this site for a residential urban infill development.
(d) The Department of Housing will partner with a private sector partner to deliver the project.
(e) An Expression of Interest process was finalised in March 2012 to identify appropriate private sector developers that could deliver a 'concept to keys' residential housing project. Three quality proponents were shortlisted to move through to the final stage of the tender process - the Request for Detailed Proposal.
(f) There have been a number of meetings and ongoing correspondence by the Department of Housing with the Greenwood community, and other key stakeholders, in regards to development on this site. The Department of Housing is committed to a community engagement process as part of developing the structure plan on the site. This community engagement will occur when a proponent has been selected through the Request for Detailed Proposal process.
(g)-(j) This cannot be determined until a successful proponent has been identified through the Request for Detailed Proposal process and a Structure Plan developed.
(k) A traffic survey on the site has been undertaken. This will be used to assist in understanding any impacts on local traffic flows.
