(b) is the Emergency Department of the Busselton District Hospital the only section of the hospital that requires capital improvements at present; (c) if yes, for how many years into the future is the Busselton District Hospital estimated to be able to meet the needs of the Busselton district, assuming that improvements to the Emergency Department are carried out; (d) if yes, why is there a currently unfunded maintenance program for the Hospital and adjoining Community Health Centre of several million dollars and what are the details of this unfunded maintenance program; (e) if no, to what report or document is the Minister referring to in his answer to question on notice No. 2825 which states that ‘A copy of the capital requirements of the Busselton Hospital has been given to Mr Masters’; and (f) if the report or document referred to in (e) above is the Bunbury Health Taskforce report published in November 2001, when will ‘an assessment of the capital improvements for the Hospital generally’ be undertaken as recommended in that report?

(d) &n bsp; Whilst it is recognised that maintenance work is required, Busselton Hospital continues to be maintained as a safe facility for staff, patients and visitors. Maintenance works will continue to be provided via the Department of Health's statewide works management system. (e) &n bsp; The Vasse Leeuwin Health Service Board's Masterplan for the Busselton Hospital Site. (f) &n bsp; Not applicable.
